The Harmony Grid

Community Meditation & Sound Bath Gatherings in Manchester Parks

An open invitation to sit, breathe, listen, ground, and reconnect — one neighborhood node at a time.

What is The Harmony Grid?

The Harmony Grid is a free park-based community initiative creating local nodes of calm and connection across Manchester through quiet meditation or contemplative prayer , sound, nature, and optional, mini-Reiki-sessions.

It is offered in a spirit of service, accessibility, and genuine community-building without pressure or performance.

The Second Node: Derryfield Park

Derryfield Park, Manchester, NH

Saturday JULY 11, 2026 @ 10am.

Address:

Bridge Street @ Highland Street, Manchester, NH

Background information:

Derryfield Park brings The Harmony Grid into a different kind of field.

Located on Manchester’s east side along Bridge Street, Derryfield Park is one of the city’s larger public green spaces — a place of open fields, recreation, movement, and wide visibility. Its landscape carries the feeling of breath, body, elevation, and sound moving through open air.

Historically, the land connects back to Manchester’s older agricultural roots, once likely used as pasture before becoming part of the city’s public recreational life. Today, Derryfield is known for its fields, trails, playground, gazebo, fitness area, and cross-country course — a park shaped by movement, endurance, and community use.

Nearby Weston Observatory adds another symbolic layer to the node: perspective, signal, elevation, and looking outward over the city.

For this gathering, The Harmony Grid adapts to the character of the park. Rather than a traditional seated meditation circle alone, the Derryfield Park Node will lean into an open-air soundscape experience with meditation, steel tongue drum, tuning forks to try, grounding in nature, and Reiki demonstrations.

Lafayette Park began the grid as a civic-memory node.

Derryfield Park continues it as a resonance node — spacious, visible, and alive with movement.

Each park has its own character.
Each node has its own frequency.
Each gathering strengthens the grid.

Summer Series

The summer series begins with Lafayette Park and expands into other neighborhood spaces.

The long-term vision is to build a network of park-nodes across Manchester and eventually into neighboring communities.
